I finally finished, Unit 2 Lesson 1 and I have to admit, it was harder than I anticipated. Since I'm determined to learn this Language, I'll continue on but I was shocked by the amount of trouble I was having. For instance:

1. I kept getting tongue tied on musukosantachi & musumesantachi
2. I still can barely understand the sentence : Watashitachi niwa musuko ga hitori to musume ga sannin imasu.
   
3. I didn't understand what niwa meant but I've gotten a pretty good understanding.
4. Still trying to figure out why isha becomes oishasan in a sentence.

But it wasn't all bad. I know my numbers pretty well so that's a breeze. I don't get all the counters, the one for book -satsu always gets me.

With E3 being on this week, this is the first time I've studied but I'm ready to move on!! I'm working on my katakana also. I figure since I know hiragana til the point I can recognize it, might as well skip that and just go straight to katakana.

Is looking like a big week from my end. I'm super excited bout the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3). I can't wait to see what is unveiled and what's demoed. My greatest hope...Grand Theft Auto V. That will make my year.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what Nintendo is bringing. I keep hearing more and more about this 3DS, I can't wait for the facts on it. (And maybe a new Wii?)

Sony's Playstation Move, can't wait to see what I hope is a finished product. I've seen demos, now I want even more smooth and OFFICIAL "Yeah folks, This is what your gonna get!"

Microsoft's Project Natal, is the first thing that has made me actually want to cave and get a 360. On a more personal note, I was dead serious about doing everything I could to get into college. Can not wait! Also I will be joining Team Android next Saturday. I'll go int to more detail in a separate post.

Just because I'm not in school doesn't mean I sit around doing nothing all day. As a matter of fact I had a job that paid pretty well, but I was layed off (damn economy).

Doesn't matter because 1 of the things I do now is study Japanese. I use Rosetta Stone and I think it's actually working. I just finished Unit 1 yesterday and I'm going to start Unit 2 today. Yay me!

Before starting Rosetta Stone I knew hiragana but not katakana. So I started switching over to reading kana, but I'm now wondering if that was such a great idea. I can change it whenever but I want to learn it.

The real point of me posting this is to ask:

When is the right time to switch over to kana in Rosetta Stone?

Finally have time to get back to my blog. It seems like so much has changed but not much really has. I'm going to get my life on track. Starting first thing Monday morning. Gonna try to get into school again. It's been horrible not being there. Hopefully I'll know something by the end of the month. I'm ready to move forward. No more fear, I'm only going to get out of life what I put into it. I'm ready to put my ALL!

I'm bout to update my laptop to Windows 7. I haven't ha a chance to really try it out on any other computer so I hope it goes well. I'm backing up my stuff on my lovely 500GB external hardrive (knew it would come in handy eventually).

I was trying to wait to test everything with my phone because it seemed to have a few quirks.

1) My battery life is horrible now. I did check to see if maybe it was just my battery but it's not.

• When I lock my phone or just put it down the screen keeps coming on like someone pushed a button. I never did that before.

Well really that's the only problem I've found so far. Don't know if anyone else is having the same problems put it's a bother. It's a great update regardless. I'd most definitely actually recommend my phone to my friends now!
